Unlocking AAISM: 9–10 April 2026
Join us for an immersive two-day virtual training event that explores topics around the ISACA Advanced in AI Security Management™ certification (AAISM™). This course builds upon existing security management best practices and focuses on the associated threat landscape to best manage the risk profile and effectively leverage AI into security operations. Enrollment includes the AAISM Review Manual, ebook edition, AAISM Questions, Answers and Explanations Database (QAE) as well as the exam cost.
Course objectives
Upon completion of the AI Security Management virtual workshop, participants will earn 16 CPE credits learning how to adapt to an evolving AI security landscape. Participants will develop a deep understanding of topics including:
- Operational AI Readiness—leveraging AI to reinforce security posture
- Enhanced Threat Detection and Response—accurately detecting and responding to complex threats brought on by the use of AI
- Maximizing Internal AI Opportunities—strategically and safely leveraging AI technologies to drive internal growth and foster innovation

Whether you’re just starting to explore AI security or planning to pursue the ISACA Advanced in AI Security Management certification, this training provides hands-on strategies and the foundational knowledge needed to lead in this evolving field. While the AAISM certification is exclusive to CISM and CISSP holders, this workshop is open to all security practitioners.
Meet the trainer
Edward McCabe, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, CDPSE, COBIT, ISO/IEC 27K1 ISMS LI, SABSA
Edward is a respected information security professional with more than 35 years of experience supporting Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. His focus includes Governance, Risk, Compliance, Enterprise Security Architecture, Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, Adversarial TTP’s and Cybersecurity Operations. Edward holds various professional certifications and has been a featured speaker across IT industry conferences. He is an accredited ISACA instructor leading coursework on CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, CDPSE and COBIT certifications, as well as supporting ISACA’s new AI Security programs. Edward is a veteran of the United States Navy and lives in Kentucky.
Attendance and CPE credits
This workshop qualifies for up to 16 hours of CPE. One hour of CPE is earned for every 50 minutes of live attendance. This workshop must be attended live to earn CPE credit. On-Demand programming will NOT be available for this program. Please allow 48 hours for the Review Manual, QAE, and the Exam Registration to appear in MyISACA Resources and Learning Access.
Attendees will receive session links, course materials and presentations the week prior to the live event to the email used with registration.

Virtual Workshop cancellations or transfers must be in writing to https://support.isaca.org. The last day to cancel or transfer is Wednesday, 25 March 2026. After this date, no cancellations will be accepted. If you cancel your workshop you forfeit access to the materials. They will be removed from your account.
If you have already registered and paid your registration in full, you are not eligible for a discount at a later date. Discounts will not be applied retroactively.
NOTE: If ISACA must cancel a course or event, liability is limited solely to the registration fees paid. ISACA is not responsible for other expenses incurred, including travel and accommodation fees.
Registration and payment policy
Registration for the event is not confirmed until full payment is received. Outstanding balances are due by the start of the conference. Access to the event will not be allowed until all fees have been paid in full. ISACA reserves the right to cancel your registration if we do not receive payment by the start of the event. All pricing is listed in USD.
Registration rate is determined by the date payment is received by ISACA HQ and current membership status. Discounts are only applicable to registrations that are completed online and applied at the time of registration. Only one promo code may be applied to an individual registration. Promo codes may not be combined and will not be applied retroactively.
