Why Patching Is Not Permanent

Misconfigurations lead to exposed data and can introduce as much risk as unpatched vulnerabilities, if not more. Patching helps reduce the attack surface, especially for the OS. But what about databases? Trustwave and ISACA^® will explore this topic in the upcoming “Why Patch If You Don’t Fix It?” webinar. The webinar will take place on 16 June at 11AM CDT (UTC -5 hours). ISACA members who attend will earn 1 continuing professional education (CPE) hour for the event.

The webinar will be hosted by Mark Trinidad, senior product manager at Trustwave. Trinidad will explain common database misconfigurations, best practices for reducing risk and how to audit for misconfigurations.
