2026 IT Bowl: EVENT FULL

Currently, the IT Bowl is at full capacity! Join the waitlist by emailing events@isaca.org and if a spot opens, you will receive a response in the order your name appears.

Ready to put your case study skills to the test? Join the IT Bowl, where students get an opportunity to strengthen professional and educational skills. The first 50 registrants will earn a spot in the IT Bowl.

Collaborate! Compete! Conquer!

The IT Bowl offers an exhilarating forum for students to hone their skills and showcase their problem-solving abilities. Participants will be placed into virtual teams of 2–3 people to dive into a case study provided the day of the competition. In approximately 2 hours, you’ll identify three IT issues, craft innovative solutions, and present to a panel of judges.

Additional details will be emailed to all participants in advance of the event. Waitlisted individuals who are logged into the Student Summit may be invited to join if additional spots open up.

Showcase your skills

Winners will demonstrate a range of skills that lead to success in the IS/IT industry:

  • Research & Analyze: Uncover hidden problems and develop creative solutions based on team research.
  • Present & Persuade: Deliver a compelling 3-minute presentation to demonstrate the depth, creativity and quality of your solution.
  • Collaborate & Excel: Work cohesively within a small team to create solutions and lasting connections. All participants must have access to a presentation-type tool (ie. Powerpoint, Canva, etc.).

Participating in the IT Bowl not only provides valuable experience but also offers incredible rewards. Presentations will be judged by industry experts, and two winning teams (up to six people) will receive:

  • US$250 stipend per team member for education-related expenses
  • Free access to the ISACA 2026 Virtual Conference, global pass.

Marco has excelled in the field of risk management since 2000, assisting clients in the Americas and Europe in highly regulated industries such as banking, insurance and health as well as the public and government sectors. He worked for 15 years at one of the Big 4 Accounting firms and currently leads the Cybersecurity and Risk Consulting practice at RSM Puerto Rico.

He is a founder of IT Bowl.
