Artificial intelligence (AI) governance refers to the safeguards put in place to ensure the responsible use of AI and effective risk management strategies. It establishes the frameworks, rules and standards by implementing cybersecurity measures, and addressing potential biases or errors in AI models and directs AI research, development and application to ensure effectiveness, safety, equality and respect for all humans.
