ISACA Student Mentorship Program

Make your first professional connection. Student members are invited to sign up for a first-of-its-kind mentorship program cohort from ISACA, geared toward bolstering career readiness skills for students and recent graduates.

This program is limited to the first 50 people to sign up. Read below for participant expectations.

What is the timing for the mentorship program?

Program dates: 13 February – 10 April
Estimated time commitment: 6–8 hours total - approximately 1 hour or less per week

What to expect

  • The program will be conducted in ISACA’s mentorship platform. All selected participants must publish a profile in the platform and accept the Terms and Conditions.
  • Program administrators will match mentees with a mentor from the ISACA Mentorship Program.
    • Preferences like time zone and language will be prioritized but not guaranteed.
    • Participants should anticipate that all program work will be conducted in English.
  • Friday, 13 February | 12:00 pm US Central Time – Mentors and mentees will join a mandatory orientation and meet with their partner for the first time.
  • Between 13 February and 3 April, mentors and mentees will meet 4 times (or more!), during mutually convenient times, to work through expertly guided coaching sessions around these topics:
    • Standing Out in a Competitive Job Market
    • Communicating in Meetings and Professional Settings
    • Managing Up as a New Professional
    • Plus, an off-boarding session to formally conclude your time working together
  • On 7 April there will be one more all-participant networking activity, centered around one of ISACA’s expert leadership webinars: “Gen-Z & the Next Generation of Cyber + Women in Cybersecurity.”

Mentees and mentors who successfully complete the mentorship connection plan will receive a completion certificate.

This program is limited to the first 50 participants. Additional participants will be added to the waiting list.

Not ready to commit? NO problem! The ISACA Mentorship Program, a self-match, participant guided mentorship program, is available to ISACA members year-round. This program allows you to search for your own mentor and move at a pace you both agree upon.
